ABOUT THE SKR GRUPE

SKR GRUPE consists of a group of private equity firms, which since 2006 activities concentrated mainly in developing various investment projects and activities related to real estate. SKR - the group of companies main shareholder is Saulius Skrebė.

 

 

DEVELOPMENT FROM 1989 - 1998

 

EACH PROJECT STARTS WITH A DREAM

 

 

Evolution began in 1989 January, Saulius Skrebė founded the marketing - the production cooperative "Pilėnai", in the same year Saulius Skrebė opened one of the first private cafe - restaurant "Pilėnai" at Radvilu Palace, the street of Vilnius. At the time, the company owns and one of the most famous discos in Vilnius - "Gaudeamus".

 

In 1989-1992 a network of recreation and entertainment facilitates with discotheques, videoteques, cafes and restaurants that operated in Vilnius and Palanga was created. Afterwards this business was successfully sold.

 

In 1991 a common Lithuanian –German company TOSA was established.

 

In 1991 wholesaling in printing paper, foodstuffs, beverages, different raw materials was started in Russia, Germany and Poland.

 

In 1992 tractors were purchased and international carriages of goods were commenced.

 

Since 1992 a stage of active expansion to foreign countries was started by the group - an office was opened in Moscow.

 

In the end of 1993 the company made a major investment to real estate: invested to plat in Berlin, reformed it and fitted to uptown place development.

 

In 1993 the company became a member of the TIR system.

 

In 1994 the immovable property was purchased and an office was set up in Minsk, Belarus.

 

At the end of 1994 the first project on immovable property was started: a shopping facility with a floor space of 221 sq. m. was fundamentally reconstructed and repaired at Kaunas St., Vilnius that was rented from 1992-1994 and successfully sold at the end of 1994.

 

In 1994 Diola Ltd. was established and a café bar at Naugardukas St., Vilnius was opened.

 

In 1994 Bevima Handels GmbH was established in the Federal Republic of Germany providing with strong opportunities to penetrate into the West European markets.

 

In 1995-1998 two real estate projects were successfully developed with the partners in Berlin: construction of a block of private homes and commercial facilities.

 

In 1995 the customs terminal in Ašmena, Belarus, and wholesale warehouses in Minsk were held in the disposition.

 

In 1996 the foodstuff wholesale warehouses were opened in Vilnius.

 

In 1996-1997 we became representatives of the world concerns Seagram, IDV Ltd. and other producers and the distributors of their production in Belarus.

 

In 1997-1998 a project in residential facilities was carried out in Neringa.

 

In 1997-1999 - after implementing a project in immovable property, a group of commercial facilities was successfully realized at Pamėnkalnio St., Vilnius.

 

In 1998 Vilsagė Ltd. managing the commercial immovable property at Pilies St., Vilnius was privatized in the auction.

 

In 1998, having successfully developed the activities of Diola Ltd., the company was profitably sold.

 

In 1998, the Lithuanian-Irish company Mažoji Kristina Ltd. possessing the immovable property in the Old Town of Vilnius was successfully sold.

 

At the end of 1998 the former famous alcoholic beverage store in Vilnius was sold.

 

 

DEVELOPMENT in 1999-2008

 

SUCCESS IS DETERMINED NOT BY PLACE, CIRCUMSTANCES OR TIME, BUT BY A MAN

 

 

In 1999 the commercial immovable property at Daukantas Sq., Vilnius was sold.

 

In 1999 major investments into the shares of different companies are commenced.

 

In 1999 wholesaling of agricultural products and consumer products made from them by importing raw materials from Indonesia, China, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Iran etc. to Belarus was commenced.

 

At the beginning of 2000 a company for managing the commercial immovable property at Gėlių St., Vilnius is incorporated.

 

In 2000 there are performing a lot operatons in real estate, starting to rent comercials quarters. "SKR gruop" originates about 30 renters, who rents our comercial quarters.

 

In 2001 a partially developed residential house project in Antakalnis, Vilnius is sold.

 

In 2001 TOSA Ltd. celebrated its 10 year anniversary.

 

In 2002 the company becomes one of the biggest local companies engaged in import and trade in alcoholic beverages, agricultural products in Belarus.

 

In 2003 sold real estate in Vilnius Old Town and other places.

 

In 2003 a warehouse complex was acquired.

 

In 2004 major investments into the land parcels in the city of Vilnius were made, blocks of land parcels were formed and the development conceptions were created.

 

In 2004 a task was raised to focus all activities on several sectors and to develop them further: investment projects (long-term investments into shares, immovable property), other transactions associated with immovable property, and logistics.

 

In 2005, the direction of the logistics business development conception was set, and the fleet of TOSA Ltd. tractors was renewed and expanded.

 

In 2005, SKR Baltic Ltd. which core activity is immovable property was incorporated.

 

In 2005 approximately 100 different field specialists worked in the group of companies.

 

In 2006 all business focused on other business sectors was sold.

 

In 2006 there are making substantial changes in companies management.

 

In 2007 There more then 40 diferent tenants: banks, comercial organizations, publishing and other corporations.

 

In 2007, SKR Invest Ltd. which core activity is immovable property was publicity service.

 

At the begining of 2008 the reorganization of SKR Baltic Ltd., was carried out.

 

In 2008 the major long-tern investment,investing in various companies.

 

In 2008 company makes strategical activity solutions because of market determination.

 

In 2008 the tasks makes strategical activity for the 2008-2009 periods were raised.

 

Twenty year experience in private business, including international, provides us with a number of advantages when taking the most important decisions offering the possibilities of increasing the value of assets and shares.

 

DEVELOPMENT SINCE 2009

 

MAKE ANYTHING WONDERFUL SO THAT PEOPLE WERE ABLE TO REPEAT IT

 

The tasks for the 2009-2011 periods were raised.

 

2009, January celebrated the twenty-year anniversary of activity.

 

In 2009 SKR invest becomes a member of the Lithuanian national advertising association "Linara".

 

2009 SKR Group consists of nine companies: four wholly owned and three managed with partners enterprises  in Lithuania, also two companies operated abroad.

 

In 2010 SKR invest opens press house, which is carried out in the Japanese press printing machines Mimaki JV5-160s.
